SUMMARY:OUT REACH TO UNDERPRIVILEGED WIDOWS’\, INTERNALLY DISPLACED AND WOMEN WITH DISABILITIES IN BAMENDA III AND KUMBO.
DESCRIPTION:Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers that you do onto me” (Matthew.25:40). Striving to fulfill these words of Christ and to actualize the reputable but constant humanitarian tenets of the organization\, LICHA Cameroon family is currently in the process of mobilizing food stuffs and other relief assistance to reach out to vulnerable women on Thursday\, December 15th 2022 in Kumbo Bui Division and the Bamenda III council area of the North West Region of Cameroon\, extremely affected by the ongoing Anglophone crisis. \nMindful of the fact that reaching out to vulnerable and underprivileged women/children of some selected communities in Cameroon (such as those of Nkwen\, Nzah and Adamawa) has been a tradition of the organization for the past three years. It was unanimously agreed that donation of foodstuff and other items to put smiles on the faces of underprivileged\, internally displaced\, widows and women with disabilities in the Bamenda III and Kumbo central of the North West region of Cameroon is a situation worth supporting. These deplorable conditions of their sufferings were brought to the lime-light by our delegates from Bamenda and Kumbo. While hoping to develop a sustainable solutions for these women\, we belief donating foodstuff and other relief assistance during the festive period will be putting indelible smiles on their faces. \nPlease join the kind-hearted team of LICHA-Cameroon composed of; the board members\, volunteers and past beneficiaries of the organization from any part of the world to commit in contributing to put smiles on the faces of these needy persons. SUMMARY:BACK TO SCHOOL FOR ORPHANS\, THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED AND LESS PRIVILEGED CHILDREN.
DESCRIPTION:LICHA-CAMEROON in her quest to promote education to the less privileged\, and to the girl child is currently mobilizing resources to continue with her Annual Scholarship Scheme at the beginning of every academic year to children from disadvantaged backgrounds; the orphans\, the physically challenged\, the less privileged and young girls who are school dropped out in the localities of Nzah\, Ntahfor and Menteh in the Bamenda III Council area and Kumbo rural  in Bui Division are extremely affected by the Anglophone crisis. Worst of it\, the selected beneficiaries from these localities are internally displaced children\, adding to their vulnerability described above. A total of 500 children schooling in community and private schools due to the closure of government primary and secondary schools\, have been selected. They shall benefit from capitation grant\, while didactic materials shall also be provided to facilitate learning to these children. \nThese children whose lives and access to education are seemingly being greatly endangered do range from 4 to 15years old\, from primary school to junior secondary schools with a few critical cases in examination classes of primary and secondary schools. It is worth to note that\, most of these children are said to have lost their parents in the midst of the ongoing Anglophone crisis. Most of them are living with their vulnerable grandparents while some are perching with relatives and friends as a result of the ongoing Anglophone crisis that shutdown schools in rural communities. \nPlease join the kind-hearted team of LICHA-Cameroon composed of; the board members\, volunteers\, and past beneficiaries of the organization from any part of the world to commit to securing a bright future for these children by sending them to school.
