I am Collins TAMBI based in the United States of America. I was born and raised in Douala-Cameroon. I eventually moved to the USA in 2014 after I was granted a Visa as a permanent resident. This opportunity has changed my life and opens my eyes to the understanding of how poverty due to natural obstacles, political issues, and low creativity is preventing our Cameroonian societies from becoming developed and habitable for persons from disadvantaged backgrounds.

 Life Changing Humanitarian Association (LICHA), being a Non-governmental organization created to empower persons from disadvantaged backgrounds to grow economically, culturally, and socially as they get material, financial and moral assistance and training on potential vocations of their interest so that they can exploit the opportunities that are available to the society and thereby facilitating the growth and development of the Cameroonian society and beyond.

 The mission of LICHA to Enhance Skills, Alleviate Poverty and Change lives positively through the empowerment of the underprivileged on self-reliance ventures, capacity building programs, sensitization on career guidance and most importantly improving the living conditions of orphans is a lofty initiative worth supporting. As the public relations officer in the diaspora (USA), it is my greatest joy to share this good news with my Cameroonian friends and many other friends as well as people of goodwill in the US and beyond, so that collectively, we can join LICHA-CAMEROON to impact lives positively. Consequently, I strongly believed that with support partners from abroad many lives will be blessed. I will be so delighted to see more persons from disadvantaged backgrounds being helped through the initiative of LICHA-CAMEROON.
