ICHA Cameroon in a bid to uphold her health matrix recently partnered with ACWAY, UK as the Bamenda-based humanitarian organization on Thursday February 17,2022 led an eight man delegation to Full Gospel High School Nkwen Bamenda in order to strengthen the physical and mental well-being of the students and staff of this parochial school.
Speaker after speaker from the LICHA and ASSOWIP delegation thrilled the over 270 students and about eight members of staff with mind-blowing topics in the areas of Gender Based Violence (GBV), menstrual cycle and menstrual hygiene just to mention these few.
Throughout this exercise, the general excitement from this institution and particularly from the eager students could not go unnoticed. The young boys and girls who portrayed maximum collaboration within the 2-hours interactive sessions were visibly elated. They resolved to be physically and mentally health conscious, being one another’s keeper and to remain good students until they will ever attain the goals for which their parents sent them to school.
The day ended with LICHA Cameroon donating sanitary kits to some selected students.
