LICHA Cameroon responded rapidly to a serious road accident along the Mbouda–Bamenda road that claimed six lives and left several others severely injured.
Following the accident, LICHA immediately mobilized support and transported critically injured victims to district hospitals in Mbouda for urgent medical care. Thanks to the transportation means donated to LICHA by Miva/Lilian Fonds, the organization was able to provide timely emergency assistance. The severely injured victims transported by LICHA survived and received the treatment they urgently needed.
This intervention demonstrates LICHA’s commitment to saving lives, supporting vulnerable communities, and responding swiftly to humanitarian emergencies.
While the loss of six lives remains tragic, LICHA’s rapid response helped prevent further loss of life and gave critically injured victims a chance to survive.
